Home built in 1956
Garage doors were wood and widow maker springs were still in use.
AC was dated back to 70's Ancient and horrible in costs to run.
Oak flooring under all the carpet in bedrooms, hallway and living room were all oak.
This bathroom was more decorative than functional with the plastic tiles.
This wall went bye bye
Inspector stated electrical panel needed to be replaced as soon as possible. Early generation of breakers were known to explode. He had a scar from the one we had that were installed at the residence. We did upgrade to 200AMP service, which was planned.
Oil heat was in place which is extremely hazardous to your health if the heat exchange broke.
Basically diesel fuel.
This tank was pumped out and 4 guys got it out of the basement. Brother in-law now uses it for Motor Oil at his shop. We upgraded AC and Heating all at once so we could take full advantage of Focus on Energy credits.
This was the mess left by estate. I made them clean the garage out. I didn't have the time to deal with this crap. I had enough of my own to deal with.
