Antenna Installation

After using the boom lift to take down a 70+ foot tree on the corner of the lot I decided to put up my modded antenna tower. 100 mile booster is installed.

Oh by the way. No way shape or form is my truck rated to haul that lift, so don't think you can pick up a 5 ton lift with a Ford Ranger at A to Z rentals.I just used the ranger to position it to different parts of the property. At A to Z you will have to have your vehicle inspected and checked for towing capabilities.

When I reserved this A to Z hadn't even had it bought yet. Literally it was 2 weeks old when I got it, but I reserved it a few months prior after finding out they were ordering the size lift I needed. I rented on the Friday afternoon of Memorial Day Weekend and was able to keep it till Tuesday of the following week for 1 day's cost. Love A to Z Rentals.

Coordinating the project.
Always wear safety harness in the lift bucket.

Yeah, I kind of permanently bent that tree. Oops! I removed it later.

Next you summon the powers of Greyskull "HE-MAN"

Nothing like pulling in channels from Illinois in Wisconsin! ha ha ha

IT is important to know that we did install large grounding rods in the ground to the antenna tower for lightning strikes. Better safe than sorry.
